AGNO, a Hexaware Technologies team, triumphed in the developer category with their creation of the Farmistar AI platform, a tool aimed at assisting small farmers in establishing crop management tactics based on real-time data.
From the University of Sydney, a student team called Phyto emerged as the winners in the university category. They utilized IBM Watson Studio and the IBM Environmental Intelligence Suite to formulate an AI-driven geospatial and weather analysis tool aimed at aiding farmers in restoring contaminated soil through natural means.
Persistent's team, Synergy Squad, clinched the win in the independent vendor/startup category for the creation of Offshelf, a text-to-speech enabled platform that aims to minimize consumer waste.
Generative AI has experienced widespread adoption since the inception of the generative pre-trained transformer (GPT) era, prominently marked by OpenAI's ChatGPT.
