Blockchain analysts have observed a series of transactions involving considerable ETH amounts from a wallet linked to Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum's co-founder, in September 2023. These transactions sum up to over $3.9 million. Several blockchain monitoring accounts revealed a 400 ETH transaction, valued approximatively $632,000, initiated from Buterin's wallet to Coinbase on September 25th. Furthermore, within the last 10 days, Buterin made deposits totaling 2,421 ETH to different CEXs, valued on average of $3.94 million. Spot On Chain indicated that this latest transaction is part of several ETH deposits made by Buterin to centralized exchanges in the past 10 days. From September 15th, the blockchain analytics tool estimates deposits of around 2,421 ETH, valued at $3.94 million, by Buterin. The records outline deposits totaling 321 ETH, equating to $527,000, made to Kraken between September 15 and 19. On September 17 and 20, Buterin supposedly deposited 1,700 ETH ($1.95 million) to Bitstamp through several transactions, along with 500 ETH deposited to Paxos on September 19. Insights from Nansen 2 beta’s wallet profiler, that Cointelegraph independently accessed, verified a number of these transactions. The blockchain data underscored a transfer of 2,000 ETH, worth around $4.9 million, to the address conducting these transactions from another wallet traditionally linked to Buterin. According to Spot On Chain, the origin of the 2,000 ETH transaction came from an address commonly associated with Buterin. Earlier, Cointelegraph reported a transaction from the vitalik.eth address on August 21, worth $1 million or 600 ETH, that was also identified by on-chain monitoring platforms.
