In an interview with Cointelegraph, Khekoian elaborated on the surfacing of several phony profiles following today's deactivation of ZachXBT's genuine account. "Currently, several accounts impersonating ZachXBT are managing to coax users, based on the pretence of assistance, by using the unfortunate circumstances to exploit for their benefit." He further warned users to stay on high alert, underlining that abundant fake profiles copying well-known accounts such as ZachXBT often aim at misleading users by luring them to click on scam links and engage in fraudulent activities.
An X platform user going by 'Nathan.eth' shared a screenshot on Telegram, claiming that ZachXBT had put his own account into hibernation for an "undetermined time".
