Tobin Ireland, MetaGravity's co-founder and chief business officer, threw light on the concept of causal partitioning during the Q&A. “By developing a unique technique for distributing a vast simulation across several servers through Causal Partitioning, we have managed to bypass previous scale and cost constraints”, elaborated Ireland. The mathematically driven process enables MetaGravity to accurately capture gameplay interactions, thereby offering an infrastructure that delivers 100 times the scale of spatial partitioning at just 1/100th of the compute cost.
