The initiative, known as Uniswap University, is designed to provide a well-organized learning trail to help users become familiar with its V3 exchange, featuring various courses, simulations, and quick learner guides. The initiative covers lessons on "What is a DEX?" up to more complex subjects like "Strategy Backtesting Tools".
The platform presents users with a chance to understand a wide range of topics besides offering simulations to gain hands-on experience on significant aspects like adding/removing liquidity and exploring advanced position management tools.
The university offers a sophisticated course that imparts knowledge on how to become a skilled liquidity provider on V3. The course designers state: "In this segment, we aim to discuss an array of possible strategies that might interest you as a potential liquidity provider. This includes HODLing stable coins, maintaining 50% of two different tokens, possessing 100% of a single token, supplying liquidity in volatile token pools alongside providing wide and narrow range liquidity. Each of these strategies poses its unique benefits and drawbacks."
It's important to note that earlier this year, Uniswap's Business Source License lapsed, enabling developers to branch off the Uniswap V3 protocol and launch their independent DEXs. Not long after its debut in May 2021, Uniswap V3 outshone Bitcoin (BTC) in fee generation. The platform saw the exchange of over $451 million worth of various coins and tokens on the Uniswap V3's Ethereum (ETH) mainnet alone. Uniswap V3 protocol has a combined total locked value (TVL) of $3.2 billion, inclusive of liquidity pools, staking, and DeFi lending.
According to DeFiLlama's reports, the sum total of Uniswap’s V1, V2, and V3 protocols yields an impressive $327 million in protocol revenues annually. Uniswap's DEX reached its highest TVL of $10 billion during the peak period of the bull market in 2021.
