The GPT Store is sectioned off into areas like DALL-E, writing, productivity, research and analysis, programming, education, and lifestyle.

The productivity section aids in improving efficiency, while research and analysis help in interpreting data. For users who attempt to download WebGPT, the GPT mandates a subscription to ChatGPT Plus for conversation purposes. The enterprise, which enjoys backing from Microsoft, presented the GPT Store in November of 2023 during its premier developer conference, with plans to activate it later that same month.
As per Reuters, OpenAI delayed the launch of the GPT store in December, citing improvements being made to GPTs based on user feedback. This postponement synchronized with the unforeseen dismissal and subsequent reinstatement of the CEO of OpenAI, Sam Altman, following concerns raised by employees.
Additionally, OpenAI declared the introduction of a paid version of ChatGPT intended for corporate usage called ChatGPT Team on January 10. Priced between $25 and $30 per user per month, it operates in a manner that ensures the privacy of a company’s data.
