He voiced confidence in the company's ability to construct an Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) that will be "secure and advantageous."
Altman declared on X that Sutskever and OpenAI have decided to "separate paths", hinting the latter "has a personally significant project he intends to focus on."

Jakub Pachocki, who has been serving as the director of research in the firm since 2017 and spearheaded the construction of its GPT-4 language model, is announced as OpenAI's new chief scientist.
Sutskever was an essential part of the team that momentarily removed Altman as CEO last November before being reappointed due to employee outrage. "I deeply regret my involvement in the actions of the board," Sutskever confessed in an X post from November.
Sutskever was also instrumental in establishing OpenAI Global, LLC, the company's profitable subsidiary.
