Approximately 40% of participants already acquainted with cryptocurrency said they would be more inclined to acquire Bitcoin given current inflation and economic trends. Conversely, a similar proportion of respondents with no cryptocurrency knowledge expressed less interest.
Grayscale noted that historical periods of inflation and economic instability have driven interest in investments such as Bitcoin. They added that those familiar with Bitcoin perceive it as a significant asset, indicating that more comprehensive education is required to aid mainstream audiences in understanding new technologies like Bitcoin, thereby facilitating wider adoption.
January will see New Hampshire conducting one of the first primary votes for the 2024 U.S. presidential elections, offering an early insight into the election's potential direction on November 5th. The ‘Stand With Crypto’ campaign organized a presidential forum in the state on December 4th, although only three candidates, who are widely considered to be outsiders for nominations from their respective parties, attended.
