The hackers responsible for the attack on CoinEx appear to be linked to the recent $41 million hack on the crypto gambling site Stake, an attack that the FBI has attributed to Lazarus Group. This attack adds to the growing losses suffered by the crypto industry due to exploits, hacks, and scams. In August alone, malicious attacks resulted in the loss of around $45 million, according to cybersecurity firm CertiK.
