Casper Labs is set to integrate its Prove AI offering with IBM’s "watsonx.governance" platform to provide enhanced security, version control, multiparty access command, and high-level audit features. The service will help in diagnosing inconsistencies, bias, and performance issues in AI systems. In addition, GreyscaleAI will be the initial design partner for Prove AI. Meanwhile, IBM aims to replace 30% of its back-end workforce with AI over the next five years.
Casper Labs, a blockchain technology firm, has announced plans to merge its latest Prove AI offering with IBM’s "watsonx.governance" platform. The declaration was made at the IBM Think conference by the CEO of Casper Labs, Mrinal Manohar. As part of the integration, Prove AI, developed on the Casper blockchain, will deliver security, version management, multiparty access command, and high-level audit features for generative AI training data sets, through audit logs. Manohar highlighted the growing necessity for businesses leveraging AI to minimize risks amidst intensifying regulatory requirements for transparency. Prove AI's features, such as the ability to revert to past data set versions, will help diagnose inconsistencies, bias, and performance issues. The AI governance solution, developed in partnership with IBM Consulting, was announced earlier this year. It was designed to enhance IBM’s prevailing analytics and policy enforcement abilities. Compliance could pertain to legislation such as the AI Act of the European Union, ratified in March, or criteria set by industry watchdogs. GreyscaleAI, a company specializing in inspection systems, using high-quality X-ray imaging and AI algorithms, will be the inaugural "design partner" for Prove AI. Furthermore, IBM's ALLaM Arabic text creation model will be integrated into watsonx as part of IBM's partnership with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, as announced at the IBM Think conference. Over the next five years, IBM plans to replace approximately 30% of its back-end staff with AI. Casper Labs, launched in 2020, migrated from Ethereum and introduced its native CSPR token in 2021, which has attracted substantial investor attention. CSPR saw its annual trading peak of $0.056 on January 4th and was valued at $0.030 as of May 21st. With a trading volume of $10 million and a market cap of $355 million, it continues to generate interest in the cryptocurrency space.
